#MarriottPartner This is the destination for a family, a couple, and friends. Pick the type of trip you want and head to Detroit. The Midwest has lot of great things for you to do. A picnic at Belle Isle was so much fun. We got to see Detroit’s beautiful skyline. It was simply a trip to remember. I absolutely must share the great restaurants we visited. Just add Detroit to your travel list. You can thank me later.

Detroit Fun!
#marriottpartner We had more fun at @DetroitMarriott then there are words to explain it. Detroit is an amazing family vacation destination. Detroit has an amazing riverwalk. We rented bikes, sat by the carousel, walked along the river walk, ate at amazing restaurants, and visited BelleIsle. We stayed at @deteoitmarriott which is 72 stories making it the tallest building in Detroit. Clark and Stone also went kayaking and paddle boarding. We checked two other hotel brands in the marriott bonvoy portfolio - the newly renovated Westin and the element hotel. @marriottbonvoy has a hotel for everyone’s price point.

Fashion Mama!
I’m loving being in touch with the Ceta that existed before I was married and a mom. I totally lost myself in motherhood and realized I was estranged from my husband emotionally after being married for 13yrs. I’m loving me as a single mom. Being a single mom is hard but making the choice to be happy was even harder. I have forever guilt of breaking up my sons family but I’ve convinced myself being a happy mom is a lot better than married. I made a choice to be the best co-parent ever for Clark and Stone. I’ve learned how to be the bigger person even if I don’t get the respect and treatment in return. One of my besties shared she thought I was managing divorce well. Sharing a few of the behind the scenes stories of divorce is not as cordial as I am portraying. It is only due to my children that I choose to be the bigger person but it’s not easy. I learned at a young age to hide the ugly truth for the sake of my struggle with perfectionism but it’s not easy. Clark and Stone’s are my world. I listen to what’s important to them and I respect their opinions because they didn’t get much of a say in my decision to be happy. Daily I try to teach them it’s okay to change your mind, to start over, and to work on your individual happiness and not only look for it in who you identify as. I’m not just a mom so I don’t look for my happiness in my title as a mom. I make a choice to be happy daily. As a mom, make@sure you’re teaching them as you do and not just as you say.

Three Piece Extra Spicy!
It was love at first sight with this short suit I bought. I linked it so run don’t walk. Swipe left for a few morning laughs and shopping posts. I have the #boymamas covered with #boykidsfashion My Stone has major swag. Contrary to popular belief I let my boys dress themselves. I have always bought the clothes and just hung it in their closet. He picks his own looks. Hence, those unmatched long socks of his 🤦🏾‍♀️😬. I don’t open my mouth. I love seeing their personalities come through. Clark is laid back but edgy enter the bleached hair and Stone is a adventurous and a risk taker with his style.

I’m trying to get back to working out. It’s been a year since I’ve worked out. I’m trying to get back on track. Find Your Tribe!
I can’t thank @cherrypickedstyle for the I vote to her beach house. We all laughed and of course I did a little crying but all in all this was a soul filling trip. @eatingwitherica is missing in this video because she was on mommy and wife duties. We ate our way through #alysbeach and #santarosabeach for a fun girls weekend that was so relaxing filled with support, goal sharing, and how we were going to help each other achieve our goals. Anxiously awaiting our next trip and missing this one.
