The Perfect Red Dress

Everyone stop what you’re doing. We all have to take a moment to look at what I’m dubbing the perfect red dress. It is seriously breathtaking. I knew as soon as I put it on I simply had to share it with you guys. If you have a special date night coming up for Valentine’s Day or are attending a formal wedding or event, this has to be your dress.

Because I’m so obsessed, I want to share a few of the details I think make it special and not just any old red dress. Plus, you can save a little money because I rented it from at By:Fashionaholic and so can you.

The Perfect Red Dress

The Pleats

Pleats are definitely on trend right now and they’re done so right with this dress. They help draw attention to the skirt, which I love. Pleats can also help a dress be more forgiving. I love that this dress is more fitted on the top and then flows out into tons of beautiful pleats on the bottom.

The Open Back

This dress has long sleeves and is floor length, so you wouldn’t think it would be considered sexy, but I definitely think it is. The open back gives it that special something that makes people say wow. It’s also very unexpected when you see the dress from the front and then the back.

The Balloon Sleeves

You probably saw my post on puff sleeves recently, so you know I love a sleeve with a little something extra.

The Color

Red is just the “it” color for me right now. It was a huge trend last year at fashion week and I’m holding onto it forever. Can you ever go wrong with a statement red dress? No.

All of these details on paper might seem like too much, but somehow this red dress pulls them together. I honestly felt magical when I wore it. The sleeves and length make it perfect for a winter party or Valentine’s, so I highly recommend looking into this dress!

What do you think? Are you as in love with this red dress as I am?
