Denim has proven it is definitely here to stay. I simply can’t make it through the week without wearing jeans. It’s basically my uniform. Denim jeans, shirts, and jackets are what I live in. In fact, I am constantly asked what my favorite brands are. Ask and you shall receive as I share my top 5.

Top 5 favorite Jean Brands

Made and designed in Los Angeles by Revolve, GRLFRND is just like one of your girlfriends. They fit you just right! While they make shorts, skirts, and jeans, their Karolina jeans are my absolute favorite. First, they have a high waist, which is always good for those cheat days, and for me lately, has been every day. Second, the distressing is just right. Lastly, the Karolina makes your butt look amazing. I mean, seriously. I can’t stop staring at myself in the mirror. You can find GRLFRND jeans at REVOLVE or Barneys.

It’s no secret that I’m a huge J.Crew girl. So, it should come to no surprise that their jeans made the list. I love the styles and the way they fit. I’m also in love with the fact that they always have a little bit of stretch which makes me feel really good about myself. Especially for those mom days when you just feel blah. The vintage straight is my current fave. It’s 99% Japanese denim and 1% stretch with vintage inspired distressing, but the hem is what I love the most. Did I mention for all the tall girls that J.Crew offers tons of styles in tall? Basically, this means we don’t have to wear crop jeans all the time.

Here’s the thing with FRAME denim. It’s more than denim. They have a full clothing line offering shirts, tops, jackets, and denim. I was first introduced to the label with it’s high waist flare jean. It’s a tall girls dream as the inseam is extra long, fitted through the thigh and a nice flare from the knee down. Last season, I fell in love with the crop denim flare. It’s perfect for all seasons as it looks amazing with sandals, sneakers, and booties. The super stretch denim is figure flattering for all shapes and sizes.

Blank Denim

Industry veteran, Blank Denim, has been round since 2007 and they’re not going anywhere. Moving on from being known for their skinny jeans, they’ve ventured out to all styles and are equally known for their boyfriend jeans. May I add they also have the best faux leathers and suede motorcycle jackets. My current fave is the red mid rise skinny ankle jeans. Can you tell how much I love distressed jeans? They’re just so comfortable and fashionable. Perfect for a day to night look in a crunch.

I was introduced to this amazing brand by my go-to girl at Barneys, Jennifer Ether. This brand is huge in Asia and recently released its premium denim in 2016 in the U.S.. They are the perfect combination of part throwback and current denim trends. Their menswear inspired fit mixed with distressing and its high waist is just what I need for my days and nights. I recently styled it on my Instagram with a velvet tuxedo jacket. My current faves can be found here and here.
